I hate to sound naive but I was unaware of the Ferguson trial until #Ferguson hashtags began appearing in my newsfeed. When I discovered what all of the commotion was about, my heart responded but words couldnt articulate its sentiments.. until I read this post. Beautifully written by NFL player Benjamin Watson. --- Everyone falls victim to vices such as hate, bias, selfishness, fear, insecurity, pride, etc. The battle is not against something as happenstance as skin pigmentation, but integrity, virtue, love, courage, peace, etc.. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 This is pretty much the first and last comment Ill have concerning that trial or any others.
