I hate when I hear women say men now days cant handle a strong black woman. The reason I hate to hear this one is simply because they refer to themselves like some dangerous chemical that will explode upon contact. The second reason is because now does weve deemed a misconception as reality and what I mean by that is that weve misplaced the true definition of what a strong black woman is with a lie that paints a ugly picture of one. See growing up in a household where my adopted parents had been married for 50 years I got to see the beauty of love and the image of what I want my wife to be. A strong black woman is not confrontational meaning she does question every move that her man makes. A strong black woman is one that is respected by herself so she knows no disrespect of self and does not accept it from others. A strong black woman is educated beyond social media shes educated to the point that when see speaks she overflows with the conviction of Malcolm X and the elegance Maya Angelou. See this isnt 1930 the role of the woman has changed in relationships and in our society. Therefore no woman should be prisoners of silence and slaves to a kitchen. In 2014 over 50% of households have the woman as the bread winner. Therefore to my future wife I want you to know that I want you to be able to compete with anyone on the face of this earth black, white, purple or blue, male, female, cat or dog it doesnt matter I want you to compete because I have faith in you and in the ability for you to win. In me saying that I need you to allow me to be the man of the household Im not asking that you submit yourself to me but I am asking that you grab hold of my hand and have faith in me right or wrong have faith that Ill find a way through because love is a battle that Im prepared to live for and die for and as a beautiful strong black woman will be the reason why I will fight in loves battle....
