I have 2 grandsons with special needs (brothers, with learning disabilities). RANT: The younger boy goes to McKinley Elementary. He gets NO help whatsoever. There is only one teacher there who cares about him. All others, including the nurse and the secretary, act like they hate him. Thank goodness next year he will be in CCMS. RAVE!!!!! Just had a meeting this morning with the teachers and staff (and my older grandson) about how to keep him on task and keep up his grades this year. A more caring set of teachers and staff I have never seen! Every one of them is interested in my grandsons success, not only in middle school but as he enters high school. Kudos to Mr. Daly, Mrs. Weaver, Mrs. Berger, Mrs. Wiseman, Mr. Ryan, Mr. Morton, Mrs. Stacy, and all the others who have made an impact on my Grandsons success at CCMS!
