I have 3 days to catch up on: Day 9: I am grateful for pets. They can bring a smile out of the gloom. No matter how down I may be on myself, they see only the good and give me unconditional love. Day 10: I am grateful that Mary Beth and Scott started church at Grange Hall, and invited me to attend with them. When you walk into the door, you feel the Holy Spirit and the joy of Christian love. True, I shed a lot of tears when the music starts.....All the music has a message. Many of the songs bring back soooo many memories of my parents. Daddys favorite song was Ill Fly Away. He had been crippled from the time he was 2 years old. I know that he now dances on 2 strong legs. Mama loved to sing, and she could hit the high notes, and she did it with joy. Too bad that this daughter has no musical abilty, but God did bless my daughter, my mothers namesake, with the gift of musical abilty! Day 11: I am thankful for our wonderful military. Their role in this world is pretty thankless, but they continue to serve, as do their families. My heart swells with pride when I see the young military personnel out and about in their uniforms! They deserve the pay and the benefits the Politicians have given to themselves, and the Politicians deserve that which they have granted for these brave and honorable men and women who serve so willingly.
