I have Aspergers Syndrome which is on the Autism Spectrum. When I was diagnosed at 12 years old it was 1 in 190 now it is 1 in 68. It takes patients and understanding to be around me.. just ask my family. Just because I have Autism doesnt mean I am stupid. Just because I dont look like I have Autism doesnt mean I dont have Autism. I would rather just have Tourettes Syndrome instead of both. It is a constant battle every day with myself but I make it through. I will never ask someone to walk a mile in my shoes but I will have someone reach a milestone in my shoes. One of the proudest moments I have had is when I graduated from high school with a 3.0 GPA and I honestly couldnt believe it but I did it. Please, share my story to spread awareness and educate other about Autism. Remember to wear blue on April 2nd and that April is Autism Awareness Month. Thank you and God Bless.
