I have Muslim friends. A young lady from my own office is Muslim and calls me dada and dedicatedly sends me new year card which nobody else sends for last 15 years. I have two cousins who have married muslims in Calcutta. RELGION is NOT WRITTEN OVER FACE !! I start my post with the above statement NOT to show I am worried about what I am going to say now but because ordinary humans are fools and they misconstrue what is said and will conclude I am anti Muslim or Pro Hindu. I am not even a religious person. I never go to temples like typical Hindus. I like to visit Churches because they are dry and clean and does not need to open my shoes. I have visited Ajmer because of its fame and touched my head at the Mazhar (if I am using the right word) Point is I never thought of Muslims and Hindus till I suddenly have started realising that in my OWN COUNTRY of BIRTH I am not allowed to call a MUSLIM a MUSLIM. And that too a when I am addressing a BANGLADESHI Muslim Illegal entrant working in my home as a maid servant trying to cheat us with her work. It is not a matter of debate whether we can call a Christian a Christian or a Hindu a Hindu or a Muslim a Muslim without breaking any rules of decency. I do not think that is the issue at all. After all what is the shame in calling myself a Hindu or Muslim if I am one? And if I feel no shame in calling myself a Muslim or a Hindu then why I cannot call another a muslim or a hindu if he is one? Yet. We cannot. There seems to be a curb imposed by our society. I cannot even refer to our maid as a muslim lady in my own home and that too when she is NOT even an INDIAN Citizen but an ILLEGAL ENTRANT through open borders in Bengal. POINT IS THAT THIS IS WHAT WE HINDUS have BECOME TODAY.. we are accused of being in MAJORITY and any reference to our Minority brothers is DISALLOWED? WE are afraid to be open UP and talk freely .. and YET it is we Hindus who are accused of MUSLIM Suppression? !! Amazing indeed. Is IT NOT WE HINDUS who are being suppressed by these FEARS -- --- Fears and restrictions IMPOSED on us BY VESTED INTERESTS who WANT TO WIN VOTES .. by WOOING A LARGE CHUNK of the Population.. Muslims and are the MUSLIMS also not taking advantage of their GROUP MENTALITY to HOLD all else to RANSOM ? Amazing Turn of events.. happening in INDIA over past 60+ years!! Slowly we are facing a POISON sown in our society and ALL are to be BLAMED for this. i never thought of all this.. in fact it NEVER CROSSED MY MIND I AM A HINDU.. or I should even make such a POST some day.. !! But frankly as days progressing.. the constant badgering of BJP and MODI BY so called secular forces and Muslims who have made it a HOBBY to hate him, The constant turn of events are actually making me a more dedicated HINDU.. WHICH I never was. There is NO TALK OF DEVELOPMENT but only Muslims.. Muslims.. Muslims I am fed up of INDIA.
