I have a 17 year old grade QH gelding I am looking to trade. Dont let his age fool you, this horse has years of use left in him! Chrome is a gorgeous, liver chestnut gelding that I have used as my main trail horse these past few months. He is about 15.2 to 15.3 hh, stocky and sound. Excellent out on the trails...no spook, crosses water, does not care to be in the lead or the back. Gets along great with other horses. I have also ridden him to town with traffic, trains and bicycles and nothing bothered him. I have had him around cows with no problems. (Previous owners said they roped off of him but I do not rope so I do not know how he is in the box or how he rates.) He rides in a snaffle - very light mouthed- and has an excellent stop. I was also told from previous owners that he does not like being ridden in a tie-down. This has never been an issue for me since I used him on the trails, but just wanted to be honest. I get compliments of how pretty this horse is everywhere I go. He stands for the farrier and is easy to catch and UTD on vaccinations. I just had his teeth floated last month. I have not ever had kids on him so I am not going to sell him as a kids horse.I am an average rider and get along with him fine. The reason I am selling/trading him is I am looking for something I can use in ranch horse shows. This is truly a good horse, so I am picky of what kind of horse I would trade him for.
