I have a 1986 325e E30. Odometer reads 183,xxx but it has been broken since before I bought the car. Ive only had the car for a month or so and it hasnt been driven too much, the P/O said he guesstimates it has around 210k on the high side. Cons: Passenger windows dont work, A/C needs a compressor and belt to work, powersteering needs the tensioner bracket to work, Odo doesnt work but I have new gears for it, clutch in the clutch fan is loud but I have a new clutch for it. Brake lining light is on in the cluster, coolant light is on in the check panel. Has a weird shake in the rearend when taking off from a stop. Has some rust spots but nothing that cant be saved; One spot under passenger side tail, one spot above driver tail, small dent in driver front fender with some rust coming up from it, and a nickel/quarter sized hole in the sunroof (doesnt leak at all.) These are the only rust spots Ive found on the car, but I havent looked it from top to bottom completely. The interior lights dont come on when the driver door is opened, but they work with all the other doors. Driver floorboard has some wear-through spots in the carpet from driving but none of it leaks. Pros: The interior is in beautiful condition minus the driver seat (tear across the seat) and the dash has some cracks, which is very common for these cars. The interior is a cream color paired with black. The paint is in really great shape, except it has some lighter-colored spots all over it (I think it may be acid rain?) just needs a sharp cut and polish. I buffed and polished the trunklid and it looks 100x better, cant tell there was spots on it. Brand new Nexen N5000s all around. Nice pioneer headunit with bluetooth and microphone. Fresh tune up with plugs, wires, cap, button, fuel pump, and fuel filter. 5-speed and it shifts good. Just needs some TLC and a little money put into her. Ive been told the rearend may just be an unbalanced driveshaft. Ive also been told the passenger windows may not work because the motors may be gummed up, so they might just need to be cleaned up to work. Powersteering pump is relatively new (2 or 3 years old) and worked a week ago, I just had a fan belt snap 60 miles from home and decided to wait to put the PS belt back on, and the bracket fell off.. Also, the white pinstriping has been removed. Now to the fun part.... Im asking $2200 obo, will accept trades for E46 parts of any kind (2001 330i) This price reflects the money I have put into it after purchasing, and the parts I have sitting around for it. I will also include a full set of miata daisys with 8/32nds michelin pilot sport A/Ss for the right price. I dont think Ive left anything out but if you have any specific questions feel free to ask. I have an NC title in hand, ready to sell.
