I have a Brazilian Cherryhead Redfoot tortoise. My pet has now eaten in 5 days. I have repeatedly taken him/her out of the habitat and bathed. It takes qbout 10 minutes to wake up my tortoise. It looks healthy when I finally waking it up but does not want to eat. I am wondering if this has to do with late November and early December hibernation and if so what I can do to prep for it. I am an inexpierieced toroise owner with this being my first. Its a lil baby no bigger than the size of your palm minus about an inch. At night keep the habitat 75 and during the day about 95 and a diet of turnip greens with low acid...etc. Any advice to help would be much appreciated!
