I have a Monsanto conspiracy theory to share. I heard the price of cocoa had risen and I thought that sure was convenient right before Halloween to drive up prices. It was just a joke I made at work but I got curious and decided to dig. Now, in 2010 many financial proper claimed Anthony Ward was manipulating the cocoa market. He runs a company called Armajaro. Most cocoa comes from Ghana. Ghana took a major stand against Monsanto thus month, right around the time the market changed. They actually list Ghanas decision to use less fertilizer and pesticides as a reason for the rise in price in one article I found. Stay with me, Armajaro and Monsanto are partners in an Agenda 21 program called the New Alliance for Food Security and Nutrition. What started as a smartass comment may be true. I think Monsanto, Armajaro, and Tanseed are trying to pressure Ghana into backing down. What do you think?
