I have a beautiful Barred rock rooster, 7 months old, that needs to go to a good home if I can find one. Otherwise hes soup, but Id like to try to rehome him first. Im in the central U.P. of Michigan. He is aggressive to my toddler and my husband so hes gonna have to go. Not really aggressive, just protecting his girls and house. If it was just me I would keep him, but cant tolerate that behavior around my son. Hes a big pretty boy from a clean coop. No problems with lice, mites, or worms. Did get a little frostbite from our - 30s temps a few weeks ago, but no other issues. If you can offer him a good home, hes yours. Otherwise Ill have to move on to plan b.
