I have a bit of a romanticized view and fascination with abandoned buildings... I often make up a history or try to envision them in their glory days. I create characters whose lives were lived to the fullest and imagine what tragic circumstances had to occur for them to simply walk away leaving behind remnants of their lives. Stories begging to be told. I remember being in this hotel many many times as a child. It makes me sad to see what was once Majestic deteriorate into a shadow of its former self.
