I have a comment about gutter guards......I installed them, then one fine day a squirrel decided to store his nuts under it, got trapped, went crazy and scratched a hole into my attic inviting a dozen more friends...... Had to relocate over a dozen squirrels 20 miles away, hired a contractor at $1,100 to fix the attic, another$1,800 to replace the heat ducts and insulation..... The "invite" of the squirrel by the way, took place over just a couple of weeks......Evidently it was a party animal. The gutter guards cost only $990.00 but it cost almost three grand to fix the damage..... It was the "waterfall" brand if anyone needs to know the type of gutter guard I used... No animals were harmed during the process, but they sure pissed me off.
