I have a confession. I haven’t sent Delphinium off to Amazon yet. I barely finished the draft this morning, and I’ve been rereading and editing all day. I thought I’d be able to clean it up and send it off to meet this 3rd deadline, but I can’t. It just isn’t ready and I’d rather humiliate myself by telling you this than doing it by putting out a bad book. I apologise deeply for lying. I am not a professional. I’m still a student who forgets to do her homework.. I messed up twice already and I tried my damnedest not to make it a third in such a public setting, and I failed. You were all so helpful and kind during the first, and even second, attempt that I plain didn’t want to disappoint you. I want to say the book will be out tomorrow, but I’m done with trying to guess. I will say that it will be out as soon as I can physically get it done. To the 35 amazing people who joined this ‘release party’ I will give you a free copy of Delphinium to compensate for my error. I truly hope this doesn’t affect your view of my work.
