I have a dear friend in need this holiday season. She is a 36 year old veteran who has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in September (was told February/March it was pancreatitis). It has moved into her liver, stomach, and lymph nodes. She didnt go public with it till 3 weeks ago. She has two sons ages 10 & 12. Her parents care for the boys since she has been in the hospital quite some time. Medical bills pile up, which makes it hard for her parents to support the boys financially. She graduated from Sac State in 2010 with a degree in social work. During her probationary period, they let her go. Her insurance ends the last day of this month. Anything could help this family at this point. Its hard for them to even remember to go get milk. Shes still trying to fight it. Shes always been a fighter. But her time is running out. Any help would be a god send. Would love to help for the future of the boys. May you have a blessed holiday season with your family and loved ones!
