I have a debilitating disease. Its causes me to be in constant pain. I cant do the things I used to be able to. I have my good days when I dont seem sick. I have my bad days where I cant get out of bed. Im not asking for your sympathy. Im asking for your understanding. Im asking for you to love and support me. Im asking you stand by my side through it all. Im asking you please dont give up on me. If you were sick Id stand by you. I wouldnt abandon you. I would be there to support you. Im asking that you love me. That you care about me. That youre there for me. My medicines have side effects. Suicidal side effects. You never know when your words could save me. Or push me off the edge and then Im lost to the world. Never to be seen again. And you could have saved me. Again... Im not asking for your sympathy. Just your understanding and friendship. So please keep in mind. You never know when you could be my hero. Or the one that pushes me over the edge. So please love me, and care about me. Please understand Im in emense pain! Please understand I struggle everyday to live. Please be there for me! Please dont give up on me! I cant work. I can barely walk. My medicines make me loopy. Im ashamed Im on disability. But I have no choice. Please...no sympathy. Only understanding. Just know I want to be normal. I didnt ask for this. No one with this disease asked for this. But we have it. We have to deal with it.
