I have a dream I have a dream that one day this school of engineering will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all our schools and department are created equal. I have a dream that my fellow engineers little by little will one day live to graduate and practice in a nation where they will not be judged by the mere notion of a toddler engineering Kenyatta University, but by the content of their character, integrity and professionalism. I have a dream that one day on the construction industry of Kenya and the great Africa the engineering fraternity from the various universities, Masinde Muliro, Moi, Egerton, JKUAT and the Visionary Kenyatta University and Various Engineering Colleges will be able to sit down together at a table of brotherhood. With this brotherhood we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to develop a great engineers board, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will transform the engineering world to trust our own African expertise Now is the time to lift our field from the quicksand of university supremacy to the to the solid rock of brotherhood.
