I have a dream....... Nigeria will be a country where small business can network and trade together. Tailors, mechanics, typist, nail technician, male and female saloons, restaurants and not forgetting pepper, salt, bread seller etc. Can you imagine having the data of all these traders in one place? Each by the local government where they are trading in, not and where they are from (As in place of origin). They all must have a phone to receive alerts when someone need to contact their business, placing targeted text adverts will be provided at a cost. I bet some people will be asking how do you intend to fund such a large scale business? Well the answer is simple the business will fund it self because it is also a trading platform they get agent commission, they can also have upgraded part of the business for Gold membership a monthly subscription service that come with extra benefits. (I will offer this information on a need to know only) Application to access these various information will be provided on all smart phones or to any computer via internet on the main website at a cost. Let me give one or two example of using this service- You a new in a town and you need any of the services mention above all you do is access your application. Or You have bulk products or a new product you can place your advert or go for targeted text adverts. Delivery in any part of Nigeria is a must for such business to succeed. The only weakness in the plan is data protection, in other countries you pay a certain fee yearly to deal with peoples information. My advice will be to have a Non-Governmental body running such business.
