I have a few really good thrift stores near me and I go often. Jason rarely has a brand new item of clothing. Shoes too, although no so much now that he is bigger and kids wear them out faster. While cleaning the garage today and moving totes around I came across a couple of totes where I had bought ahead. Some of the items are already too small. And we had such a mild winter, he never wore more than a light weight sweatshirt. Jackets will be too small by next year. I hate when I do that. The good thing is, the special needs school where he went for 2 years is always in need of these things. It is close by and they always are happy to see me with my bags of goodies for the little ones. Win win, I feel good they feel good.
