I have a friend that is an avid, competent, responsible, and professional hunter. Just a few weeks ago he unhooked his safety harness and proceeded to climb down the tree stand without a life line. He fell 9 feet to the ground and landed on his head. He could barely crawl to his truck. He is very lucky to be here. He is a big strong man but will likely suffer some long term injury from this fall. The Safety Harness is important, the Life line is part of the system, please dont forget it.
