I have a friend who is going through a major crisis right now. Long story short, she came to California (from Washington) to start a new life for herself and her two year old daughter. She met a girl online who told her she could stay with her while she looked for work, so she left her daughter temporarily with family and moved down here. Then overnight, the girl kicked my friend out on the street over something accidentally spilled on one of her pillows. Its amazing how petty and heartless some people can be. Long story short, she is frantically looking for a temporary place to stay and a job here in or near the Long Beach area, so she can get on her feet and find a home for her daughter and herself.
