I have a good topic that some people seem to avoid. But what health testing do we do with our Dogs? OFA HIPS, elbows, thyroid test, heart test, brucelosis etc. Should you breed a dog with one testicle? All I hear is the talk about Breed Type but what about having a genetically sound healthy dog? I see Bully Dogs at Shows that are train wrecks. Have we gave up on health for mass and girth? I will be the first to admit I need to do more health testing. But I have done some of the health test above. Not many will want to comment on this post. Most people would rather debate on irrelevant issues. Should we remove dogs out of our program if they are not genetically sound?? Lets talk about Health and Genetics First. Then we can worry about Pedigrees. Keep it Positive and I am looking forward to what the Bully Community says....
