I have a great Hustler Rip Rogers story. Rip was a wrestler who was born and raised in Seymour, Indiana wrestled all over the country for all of the big federations (WCW, WWF, USWA, Stampede etc). Anyway I was 16 years old and by that time Rip had became a head trainer at the OVW organaztion out of Louisville and I went with my dad and little brothers to one of the shows at West Washington high school. Well we were seated at the very top and this crazy old man was walking all over the top, anyway me and my dad one time as he walks past we yell Hey Rip he replies with Ill be back so my dad is seated the row below me all of a sudden Rip comes back and sits right next too my dad. Im talking leg touching leg lol and they have a conversation and are acting like they are longtime high school friends. Then he gets me involved into the conversation, Rip is one of those people who every other word he says is a cuss word lol. Anyway he sat half of the show there shooting the breeze telling stories. Anyway too make a long story short at the end, before he leaves he turns too me and says kid let me give you some advice, whatever you do or whatever job you have stay humble these guys out there are tearing up their bodies busting their bodies for $40 a night. No insurance and no guarantee of a future, always remember you are never better than the other man you are working with now that was cleaned up from how he said it too me but he shook our hands and thanked us for coming lol he was a character and I think hes still at OVW and is working at UPS for night for insurance lol.
