I have a heavy heart today reading the news of the passing of my sweet cousins husbands passing. I didnt know Mark Kite other than through Facebook...but boy, am I glad that I had at least that. He was encouraging on my posts, was crazy about my cousin, and seemed to be an all-around great guy. My hope was to meet him at some point when I got down to Florida...but now the reality is that I will meet him in heaven someday. I look forward to that because I know hes there. Please pray for my cousin Jackie Kite and her daughter Amber Hamilton and all of the family and friends who knew and loved Mark so much. I know it is tragic to lose someone so dear and who seemed to be happy with who he was, who loved deeply and was just an amazing encourager. I will miss his posts...the photos of Jackie and him smiling (usually on a beach somewhere) and his certainty that life was good. I honestly will. Today...in Marks memory...and in honor of the love that he and Jackie shared...do something beautiful for someone else. Say a kind word. Take by a meal. Hold your significant other close to you and look them in the eye and tell them emphatically and with every fiber of your being...I love you. Now. Today. Dont put it off. I am praying for you, Jackie and Amber, and hope that you will let me know if there is anything that I can do for you. Love you.
