I have a huge concern on people who say they are a pets owner and surrender a dog to a shelter! What if this person stole the dog and then decided it just didnt fit ? Most owner surrender dogs have a few days before they destroyed, so I think that all shelters that take owner surrender dogs scan them to make sure that the owner is the person dropping it off! Also have been noticing that some shelters are saying dogs that have a lab mix in them are being called pit bulls, which I guess making it easier to euthanize it if the dog doesnt get adopted or rescued!
