I have a little rant today. I know a lot of active military. So I know none of them wont take offense to this. All these comparisons between military pay and the fast food 15 an hour are stupid. There is no comparison to be made. The military may not make a fortune, but they get their base pay, insurance on all of their health, their house played for through bah, and school paid for. They get discounts all over the place and Im sure there is some more that could be added. By all means they deserve it. Fast food franchises are starting to make all their employees part time so they dont have to pay insurance. So with that their only benefit is just free refills while at work. Do they deserve 15 an hour? No, maybe an option for school or something idk but my major point here is that is an unfair and unrealistic comparison.
