I have a little review for you. I ordered the Hell Bunny Super Cute 50s Mini Dress. I dont know if I remember that name right. Well, I dont know if I am really satisfied with it this time. As you know I own a lot of Hell Bunny dresses, always sure what size to chose. After the ivana dress turned out 2 sizes smaller than its size says, I was a bit disappointed, but I know that older collections are smaller and I merely own new dresses. So I thought I could stay with XL since my body measurements are exact the measurements of HBs chart. I have small breasts but a wide back. I have neary no fat on my ribs but a pretty big tummy, we call that a Rettungsring in Germany (rescue ring..that thing on a ship you use when s.o. goes over board). So you can imagine my body shape is a V. So..lets start with the good points: The fabric is really light. If I say light I mean really LIGHT. Its the perfect summer dress and thr fabric is super cute. You find roses, pearls, diamonds, nautical stars, ponies, rainbows and teddies on it. The photos of the dress you find in the internet make it look a bit white, but it is definately not. It has a really soft pastell blue tone, which is even brighter as baby blue. A really soft pastell. So just you know: It is not white! The day it arrived had 30°C which is pretty hot, no wind, I am sweating like hell. But the dress is so light..wearing it is like wearing nothing. Lets come to the not so good points..which is size and measurement. The cut looks to me, as if the model for the dress was pregnant. It fits perfect on my breasts, but right under it is way too wide. Remember: I bought size XL. If I bought L it would have been too small, because my back is too wide..it would have fitted my waist then but I think the zipper wouldnt have made it all the way up. None of my dresses has a cut like this. They are all fitting tight to my weist and then have a wide skirt. But this one is well..just hanging of my weist which is sad because I have a weist and I want to show it. I dontt know if someone had similar experiences with that dress and I cant imagine I got a falsie. The dress is just not propotional. If I wear a belt it looks better. Maybe its my fault and I lost weight but sadly it does not seem so. If I do I will give it to a suer for some change to make it fit better. I made a little video to show you what exactly I mean and what my problem is. I love the dress though and will keep it. I can at least let someone make changes and until then I will wear a belt. Maybe the problem can also be solved with washing it one time, because someone perhaps tried it on before me, but I dont thing so. So if you buy this, my advice would be to go a size down if your body measurements are quite even or even with a V it could turn out the better selection. The fabric is strechy and in the back there are two smoked areas which makes it more easy to maybe go a size down.
