I have a little story (it may be a bit lengthy). My husband had a Bronco scheduled to paint today. He had already painted several pieces and the paint had laid very transparent, requiring 4 coats to cover the primer. The paint was horrible expensive (nearly $800) and had been a special order. All week he has been stressed and worried that what he had left would not be enough to paint the body of the vehicle. When I arrived at the shop, we had the conversation again about how he did not think that there was enough left. My answer, dont fret about it, pray. I kept saying Loaves and Fishes honey, Loaves and Fishes over and over. The conversation included worries about running out and not being able to just run out and get it, having to leave the vehicle in the paint booth till the paint came in (which could be up to a week), getting behind on the other jobs, not getting paid this week and several more really bad scenarios. Every time the husband came up with a negative possibility, I responded with Loaves and Fishes. We prayed and headed into the paint booth. After the first base coat was painted, he told me that with complete certainty, there was not going to be enough paint. Loaves and Fishes! I knew he was getting perturbed at my response when he pointed out that he knew what he had been doing this for a while and he knew how much paint was needed for a project and there was simply not enough. Loaves and Fishes! While my frustrated husband went back into the paint booth, I went outside to gather up some trash and continued to pray. It wasnt an awfully long time till my husband came up behind me and reported that he had no idea why, but the paint was covering better than it ever had and he was going to have enough. He thought it had somehow stretched. I said, I know why. I have been praying! Loaves and Fishes...That wasnt just a fairy tale we were told in Sunday school, it was a story about an actual miracle. The Bronco turned out beautiful, with about an inch of paint left in the bottom of the pail. My husband will be the first to tell you that there should not have been enough paint and to have even a small amount left over is nothing short of a miracle. Just a Hallelujah that God still takes care of His children. Praise Jesus for the Loaves and Fishes!
