I have a lot to be grateful for, so I will try to be brief in making a public thank you to many of you. First of all, thank you to Hospice of Texarkana and all of their staff for providing excellent care to mom. I am so happy I had the courage to change groups part way through her care as they were so wonderful to us throughout. Thank you to Debbie Jewell Grimes again for being my eyes, ears, hands, and heart throughout. Thank you to everyone who provided prayers, food, moral support, flowers, and kind words the past couple of days and previous. Thank you to my friends who provided advice when I needed the confidence in going forward with some of the decisions I needed to make regarding medications and care. Thank you to those of you who attended the services, some even coming long distances - it did not go unnoticed or unappreciated. Thank you to my coworkers at GC who were so willing to switch schedules and help me in any aspect they could afford. I would love to name names, but certain I would leave many family and friends out on accident. Mom and the rest of us would not have endured all of this as well without the love and support of all.
