I have a major issue with any educator teaching children about any specific religion, especially when these same institutions have banned the teachings and in some instances are publicly “hostile” to specific religions; in particular “Christianity” …something here is terribly wrong! Aside from the fact that our Constitution specifically references the separation of “church and state”…however I’ve never had an issue with schools teaching religion within an historical context, and how different religions have impacted society, both positively and negatively, provided it’s based on historical fact! If anything these so called educators should be teaching factual historical American History, as to how our country was founded and on what religious principles are our laws and society based upon, once again I have no problem with any teacher teaching the basic tenor of Islam, provided the same teachings are accorded to other religions, and any reference to any specific biblical individual, must include ALL BIBLICAL INDIVIDUALS, with their factual historical biographies, their principles, and their teachings
