I have a pancreatic duct stone that causes acute pancreatitis. I have to go up to Christiana hospital tomorrow and see my belly doc, but I think I am going to have him fax everything down here to Dr. Marafat. The drive upstate is too much when I am having this pain. Ive been on meds for this since 2008 and its not working anymore, so I will probably need to have a stent put in that duct to relieve the obstruction. Sounds simple enough but I am post gastric bypass, which makes the procedure (its called ERCP, a big long word) a lot more risky.
