I have a personal celebration to share that increases commitment to my path and career. This past week, I had a first time experience in the family history area of my life with one of my children that was profound. A day of celebrating a special day in my life somehow extended into many between us and there was a spontaneous moratorium on our day to day bickering and tantrums (yes both of us - if any parent tells you they dont behave like children with their own, in my opinion they are in denial). Our playfulness and horsing around blossomed into a new experience that came into my consciousness, if only for a second. In the contentment and fun as I started to wrestle back in laughter I felt the presence of female energy of each of my first family members within me, so tangible that I could individually recognize them in a new way and empowering way. It was a moment of complete acceptance and recognition of a feminine strength from my lifetime not my childs. These women have been missing in action and not apart of my childrens life experience. This was quite profound and for me it was acknowledgement of the increasing non-attachment to unmet needs of my history with them and that the despairing feelings are being replaced with the most incredible, unpredictable and enriching aliveness!
