I have a plan. I notice that the fish like to congregate where there is a dark background. I will get one of those mesh laundry bags, put wire through it top and bottom and use it to divide the pond. I will put some of my left over black rocks on the fishes end of the pond, to encourage them to hang out there. The bag will be weighted with rocks at the bottom, and dug slightly into the gravel. The top will have a wire extend each side, to be tucked under the edges of the pond. It will be just slightly under the top of the water. My theory is that the tadpoles and the fish will not be able to swim through the double sided mesh bag but future mosquito larvae will. So, my livestock should remain paddocked and separated. Any suggestions for a better solution?
