I have a problem with people who tout their mental state, or as some people call them, illnesses, on public forums such as Facebook. For some of us, it is not a badge of honor, or something to be showed off. Its a real personal struggle that has caused a lot of serious problems in our life. Example: I was actually discharged from the military due to problems caused by a diagnosis from a psychiatrist while I was in. Ive struggled with low self-esteem and poor self image my whole life, but Ive tried to keep it to myself. Why? Because, quite frankly its not your cross to bear. Its mine. I dont want anyone to feel sorry for me for the way I am.
