I have a question - are people in Hornsby able to recall how cheap fuel was?. We now have only a few servos in Hornsby region as a few have closed over the years - Dural/Westleigh/Hornsby just to name a few. I saw the other day when travelling we are paying in Hornsby/Pennant Hills area and most likely north up to Mt Colah i guess ........up to 20c a litre on some days difference in fuel costs, compared to southern Sydney. Eg the day i travelled i got fuel for $1.34 nearly in Liverpool yet in Hornsby it was around $1.57 i recall. That just shocked me. That massive pricing gap is a quite unfair im sure we could all agree. We by living in upper north shore seems to be classed as able to accommodate such a high fuel and shopping expense / cost.....when southern and western Sydney get same fuel / shopping items for so much less. We should start a active campaign or a page to get lower fuel pricing in the Hornsby region and keep everyone updated to where the cheapest fuel in our region is. (Pity the NSW country people ......who pay even more than our prices.......they are really struggling I have been told on a few occasions).
