I have a question. Does anyone else out there ever have a problem with Walgreens or any pharmacy for that matter? We went to get our pills filled and they said that it is too soon for John to get his filled which didnt make any sense at all because he has been getting them every two weeks like clockwork ever since I can remember. So we called the other Walgreens and asked if they could be filled and they checked and said yes. So we go there to get them filled and when we went back to get them, they said it was too early because his insurance wont cover 180 pills every two weeks even though they have been doing it since last year because they have the paperwork from the doctor to authorize him to get that many. Well, apparently it is time to renew the paperwork and he wasnt notified. We had to pay for them and we have a discount pharmacy card on file that we use anytime we do have to pay for them. It saves us $80.00. He went to use that discount today since the script wasnt covered and the pharmacist ever so rudely came to the window and said, I have told you before that we cannot honor discount cards if it is a medication that would be covered by your insurance. We told him that the insurance wasnt covering it today and every other Walgreens lets us use that card when we have to pay and he said he is NOT honoring the discount and if we want the pills we will have to pay in full for them because it is a medication that his insurance will cover if we wait 12 more days to get it filled!!! The first one we went to wouldnt even let us pay for them, another one we called said we could pay for them but they didnt have enough to fill it in stock and so the one we usually end up going to refused to let us use the discount card even though all the others do. It is a complete crock of bullshit that the same pharmacy seems to have different rules at different locations!
