I have a question, Evan was diagnosed last week with Marfan syndrome. Some of the potential risks are, collapsed lungs, joint damage, dislocated lenses in his eyes, and heart issues, however his heart looks great right now. I met with the school nurse who was completely on board and we came up with some limitations which were sent to all of the teachers. The most important was limiting his PE to no contact sports etc. well, he came home last night with some scraped knuckles and bruises, when I asked him what happened he told me that he was playing floor hockey and was tackled. Wth?? So, do I call the nurse, PE teacher or principal?
