I have a question. . I myself was diagnosed in September with stage 4 cancer. I have had my heeler now going on 2 yrs. I got her at 6 weeks old. She is a sweetheart and friendly with all. But since I have been diagnosed and receiving treatment Nevaeh ( thats her name) has become very very clingy and protective with me and daughter so I have to put her away in a kennel or muzzle her when I have company even with people she knows. I hate putting her in a kennel or muzzling her. But I dont have any choice. She doesnt bite anyone but she grabs there feet and trips them and she barks at the excessively . Is her behavior normal? Any suggestions on anything I can do to get her to stop?
