I have a question... What was it about Wyla that caught your attention? Was it her beauty, her strength, her bravery, inspiration, her amazing spirit, her wisdom, her funny math? I really am so grateful that I shared her journey, you guys really helped us in so many ways and we are forever grateful. In the final months especially, going to Helping Hands Veterinary Clinic for our weekly tests/monitoring and seeing towers of supplies we needed just made us cry with relief. Wyla was slipping away after an almost 2 year fight against her tumors, we were barely scraping by with her treatments and the relief of having a stock pile of supplies we didnt have to worry about getting meant so much mostly because that gave us more time to spend with Wyla instead of at Costco. Many of you have or had sick or special needs doggies, it can be so emotionally draining and isolating. Having Team Wyla made me not feel so alone. We felt like the Verizon Commercial with the whole group of support behind us. In my scariest moments in the wee hours of the night, I could post Wyla had a seizure or what was going on and within minutes support was there, including Dr. Guidry which was a blessing. Team Wyla was to me what I hope it is to all of you, a page to make you smile, feel love and support, share tears, goodbyes, and healing, and send super powers to those who need it. From the most sincerest part of my being, thank you Team Wyla for being Team Wyla. You all are a pretty awesome group of amazing people with hearts of gold.
