I have a question. You see, I am still a student but I plan to become an android developer in the future. I just want to know the following: - What other technologies besides java and android should I include in my skill set? (Although I do plan to learn a few exotic language for the experience but what is marketable right now?) - How do I make myself more marketable? - What does the current industry think of Open Source Projects? I plan to join a project to get experience even before I graduate. But does the current industry recognize it as an experience? I am aware that It is difficult to a well-paying job without at least 2 to 3 year of experience as it is not a real job. - What is the best way to built a network? What activities are recommended? - What particular skills is the industry looking for? - What kind of employee do employers want to hire?
