I have a question about ridgeless RRs. The akc says that is not acceptable but what if someone likes the ridgeless ones, I assume thats frowned upon to breed that way? Id actually pay more for one without a Ridge just because its rare! That way you can pet it without rubbing the hairs wrong. My son (12) mentioned that tonight when we picked out our puppy. He wondered if it irritated the dogs to be pet because it goes against their hair along the middle. It got me to thinking about the ridgeless ones. Then you wouldnt have to worry about that. So I read on it and akc says theyre no go. Thoughts on ridgeless pups?
