I have a question about unregulated/regulated box mods, and maybe - TopicsExpress

I have a question about unregulated/regulated box mods, and maybe its a stupid question, but none the less, I have to know. Im in the market to eventually get a box mod, and Im told I should get a regulated one...why? Yes I know you can make higher ohm builds on them and turn the wattage up and itll be on par with a sub-ohm build. If thats the only reason for this purchase, wouldnt it be more economical for me to just purchase an unregulated box mod and just do sub-ohm build, and also spend less? Ive noticed most unregulated boxes are less expensive OK, maybe I had two questions.
