I have a question for everyone. I have been at Boston Childrens on a contract since August. I extended and my new contract began last week. When I got paid this past Friday, my paycheck was short several hundred dollars. My recruiter was out of the office, but the person that called me back said that it may be because my contract started on a Wednesday. Yes, it did start on a Wednesday. 1) I did not ask for that day. I asked for them to be consecutive with no time off. 2) The hospital did not ask for it to start that day. In fact, I had to have the manager adjust my schedule so that I wasnt scheduled on the Monday before the contract started. What can I do? I feel like the company did that on purpose to get to keep their money. I had planned on getting that money and dont know what my options are.
