I have a question for my former contemporaries in the pulpit? - TopicsExpress

I have a question for my former contemporaries in the pulpit? There is a new generation of youth who refuse to be contained by the boundaries of religious ideologies and concepts that are inundated with fallacies that simple research can unmask. The information age has unearthed a wealth of information that the Church (both Protestant and Catholic) has feverishly worked to conceal for centuries. The history of religion is no longer confined to the 1,500 plus years worth of literature confined in the Bible, nor is it reduced to the rendering of scripture by the Prophet Muhammad. You can no longer hide Kemet (Ancient Egypt), neither are you able to shield the masses from the truth of Ausar, Aset & Heru. To my fellow seminarians, one of the first things you learned in textual criticism was never to isolate scripture without providing the proper context (the principle of hermeneutics). It leads to poor interpretation. Well, the same applies when you extract the history of an entire people from a religion that they inspired. Think about that for a minute while I continue. We all know that a half-truth is really a whole lie. I screamed this from the top of my lungs for several years, but arrogance and self-indulgence would not allow you to listen. For years, there has been a mass exodus from the church, and instead of addressing it, you switched your strategy to simply finding new recruits. That is extremely problematic at best. I know, I said that I had a question, so here it is: With the truth staring you in your face, will you still continue to embrace and foster the lie? ~ Dr. Rick Wallace, Ph.D. P.S. In case you are not aware, I have just drawn the line in the sand. In the words of Hosea, My people are destroyed due to lack of knowledge. (Hosea 4:6) For the record, that message was not sent to the people, but the priest. The priest had failed in their responsibility to teach the people! With every breath I breathe I will infuse knowledge where you have planted ignorance.
