I have a question, perhaps someone can offer help. I live in Eastern KY . Ive posted several times regarding my 4 yr old trixie. She has been down with her back since august. The vet says she has a vertebrae pushed into another. There is no way I can afford surgery, was quoted $2,000+ I live on disability and as many people knows it just covers the bills. Ive taken her to the vet, he gave her deramamax 1 pill daily and they are costing $50+ a mt. Currently thats about only help I can offer her. Since Saturday shes had pain shoot over her body... even while on her meds. Several times a day. It breaks my heart knowing she is in pain. She runs around in a panic, pants and lays in her bed with periods of shaking and without meds or if im a little late with them she has trouble walking. Does anyone know of any help/doctors/programs/vets anyone in or near eastern ky or even tn. ???? If at all possible keep her in your thoughts and prayers. I honestly dont know what else I can do.
