I have a question to electronic gurus on Facebook. So on our last job not only did we acquire some antique items but we also got 2 flat tvs, I am trying to see if they would be worth fixing and either keeping or selling or just Recycle them. TV 1 is a 52 Phillips LCD HD TV. Originally we were told it didnt work and it was missing the AC adapter so I purchased a 4.39 power cord from Amazon plugged it in and the TV works great. What we noticed now is there is Crack in the upper right corner of the screen. I know if it were a cell phone I would just have it repaired I am just not certain on Tvs TV 2 is a Samsung 36 LCD HD TV. It powers on but all you get is colored vertical lines down the entire screen. I called Samsung and this is a known issue and the fix is approximately $150.00. Any and all opinions welcome
