I have a question to pose for all the fathers. Facebook friend or not. Those who know me know how close I am with my daughter kine , and know that I pride myself with being one of the 1st black fathers amongst my peer group to embrace fatherhood (while being damn near homeless at the time of my daughters birth). If I were to host a summer wrap up event for fathers and their child/children would you attend? This would be a very loose outdoor event including FOOD, DRINKS, and LIVE MUSIC. MOTHERS OF COURSES WOULD BE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND, but this would mainly be about celebrating fathers who handle their responsibilities (children). Would any fathers help me plan said event, (Location, date, theme)? This idea comes from watching the interactions between my brother Inye Wokoma and his daughter Ama Ibi and how tight they have become, (makes me proud). If you would like to be involved in the planning or attending of said event please let me know. This is open to all fathers weather I know you or not. Lets just get to know each other.
