I have a quick question: Last Monday my dog, Zac, had a non cancerous cyst removed from his front upper leg. He had to wear the cone. My parents felt sorry for Zac and took the cone off him today and placed additional bandages over his existing ones to be safe and monitered him and he didnt touch them or tried to lick the wound. Well, about 30 mins ago I found part of the bandage tape on the floor and the bandage around the bottom part of his leg. The staples used didnt come out and the area around the wound didnt feel wet but the bandage was soaked. Should we be worried about infection ?
