I have a research institute that contacts me occasionally to see if I want to participate in research studies (which I never do, you think theyd get the hint) This one asked if I was busy, so I replied Um, Im making a grilled cheese sandwich... so kinda They then said This will only take a second. First, what brand of pants are you wearing right now? I guess she didnt get the hint that I didnt want to take part in the survey, so I threw her a curveball...so I replied Um... none. She sounded confused and was like Are they slacks? Or shorts? Sweatpants? So I replied No... like, literally nothing. She then said I... guess.... Im.... confused so I spelled it out for her. When I get off work, the first thing I do is get out of my uniform. The second thing I do is make food... so Im making grilled cheese...in my underwear. After about 10 seconds of awkward silence I said Dont judge me. and she said Im sorry sir, you dont qualify for this study. This concludes our survey, have a nice day. and hung up very quickly. Doubt shell interrupt me at dinner again.
