I have a small selection of Infrared and Full Spectrum modded cameras for sale. All cameras come with just a wrist strap unless otherwise stated. Please be aware that the Full Spectrum cameras will often give a false non-focus lock warning, just ignore it - the addition of infrared to the sensor as well as visible light will throw the autofocus off slightly, nothing to worry about, focus is fine in both cameras. =============== 1- A real cheapie infrared to start - Its a Nikon Coolpix 2100, only 2.1MP, but really nicely built and converted at 850nm, therefore only mono (which is a bit of a shame cuz this one has custom white balance ! Oh well, one day Ill find the right thickness 650nm material). Anyway, its one of these : imaging-resource/PRODS/CP2100/CP21A.HTM Focus is spot on and there are no visible dust spots. Takes 2x AA batteries (not included) and uses CF cards (not included), no wrist strap. Only after 35 quid plus post so this is a chance for some lucky person to start infrared really cost effectively. =============== 2- Canon A710, modded to 720nm infrared. Nice little compact, but does have a few oddities : You have to keep it on Macro setting to get accurate focus, and the clock memory doesnt work. Simple fix for both, just hit Menu when it switches on to ignore the clock, and hit Macro (one push). 720nm gives lovely deep mono tones and that great contrast. You can also mod it further with CHDK to shoot in RAW - Ive tried it and it works fine. Looking for 85 quid plus post for this one. =============== 3- Samsung ES9, modded for Full Spectrum. This is a 12.2MP camera, with 4x optical zoom & custom White Balance. Does have one or two very minor dust spots. Uses 2x AA batteries (not included) and SD/SDHC cards (not included). Cracking little camera, as nice as they come. Looking for £100 plus post. =============== 4- Samsung PL150, modified for Full Spectrum. This is a 12.4MP camera with 5x optical zoom & custom White Balance. Uses a custom battery (one included) and MicroSD cards (not included). Ill also include the charging USB cable. Another nice little compact, looking for just 85 plus post for this one. =============== 5- Two infrared headtorches for sale. These are just straight 940nm high power LEDs, 9 in each headtorch, with the right value resistors wired in. Runs off 3 AA batteries (not included). These are not the greatest, or most sturdy headtorches, but they do the job and quite cost effectively too. How does 13 quid each inc UK post sound ?
